Book Club Nuts and Bolts

We will be reading one book a month. We will have weekly group discussions if you are interested with a final discussion at the end of the month. The new book choice for the following month will be posted at least two weeks before the beginning of the new month. You can pick and choose if you want to participate. We will have at least one giveaway each month for our readers! If you have any book suggestions, please email either Jessica or MiMi. We are in new territory, so we might have to work out some kinks as we go along. We hope you make new friends and have fun!

Spoiler Alert Tuesday/Giveaway

Since it's the 1st of the month we didn't think a Spoiler Alert on the new book would be a good idea. We haven't even started it yet, so we figure you haven't either! Plus, with school starting here in Oregon this week, we are very busy!

Instead we are just going to do an overall review of last months pick, Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella.

Don't forget, new month, new book! Our book pick for this month is:

We have put links up to places you can get the book on the internet. Or click on the picture and it will take you to Amazon.

Here is today's giveaway! Two wooden backed rubber stamps and a black inkpad for all of you card makers, scrapbookers, or just anyone crafty; this one's for you!

  1. I love you too...What...thats what the stamp says. I didnt want to be rude. My thoughts on Remember It wasnt bad but wasnt great. A bit too predictable and a little too fluffy. However there were some funny parts in there.

  2. sorry i'm a slacker and didn't ever get the book i had good intentions but its been a crazy busy month... now this little one will be here any day so we will see if i get sep.'s book LOL

    The Buzz,

  3. I actually really enjoyed the book. I had never read anything by this author before, so I had nothing to compare it to (like the Shopoholic series). It was fluffy, that's what I liked about it I think. When I read July's book, I was like ugghh... predictable... I didn't think that with this book. Maybe I've read too much Sparks.

  4. I didn't do August, but I'm excited to read this month's book! Going to the Library this week to see if I can snag it before Tanielle gets there!

We had to share in July!

  5. I love stamps! It's my mom's fault :P

  6. I have the book for Sept...still need to read some before next Tuesday. :) I enjoyed the book, but as I said that ending part was a bit cheesy. I enjoyed her other books. I liked Shopohilic and Sister....that was the first of her books I read. Shopoholic & Baby was funny too. Looking forward to Sept!!!
